Mr. Wormwood called the regular May meeting of the Town of Watertown Zoning Board of Appeal to order at 7:00 p.m.
Motion 4-25: Motion by Mr. Wormwood, seconded by Mrs. Kiernan to accept the minutes of the April 7, 2025 meeting as written and distributed.
Ayes All: Motion Carried.
PUBLIC HEARING – VARIANCE REQUEST
Michael & Yvonne Brown – 22163 Swan Road – Tax Map #91.13-1-25 – request for a rear setback variance for a storage shed. Zoning requires a 40′ rear setback. Proposed plans show a 20′ rear setback.
Legal Notice was published in the newspaper and evidence was provided that adjacent property owners were notified.
The public hearing was opened at 7:00 p.m. No one from the public wished to speak. The public hearing was closed at 7:01 p.m.
VARIANCE REQUEST
Michael & Yvonne Brown – 22163 Swan Road – Tax Map #91.13-1-25 – request for a rear setback variance for a storage shed. Zoning requires a 40′ rear setback. Proposed plans show a 20′ rear setback.
Yvonne Brown signed and dated updated plans showing placement of a 20′ x 20′ steel storage shed on a concrete pad at property located at 22163 Swan Road, Tax Map #91.13-1-25 at 20′ of the required 40′ rear setback requirement.
Motion 5-25: Motion by Mr. Wormwood, seconded by Mrs. Knapp to grant a rear setback variance at 20′ of the required 40′ for a storage shed for Michael & Yvonne Brown, 22163 Swan Road, Tax Map #91.13-1-25.
Ayes All: Motion Carried.
Motion 6-25: Motion by Mr. Wormwood, seconded by Mrs. Knapp to adjourn the meeting at 7:05 p.m.
